Stacey Jones

Legal Practitioner Director

Having held the positions of General Counsel, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer in one of Australia’s leading property investment groups, Stacey saw the opportunity for an independent legal practice to service not only that group, but the wider property market. This led to the incorporation of Arena Law with Stacey holding the position of Legal Practitioner Director. Prior to joining property investment management, Stacey spent significant time working exclusively in commercial property law with a highly regarded, specialist firm in Brisbane advising developers, international investors, shopping centre owners, property trusts, listed companies, Local Government bodies and high net worth individuals on major transactions, leasing, and complex titling structure.

Stacey is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, is entered on the High Court Register of Practitioners, holds a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University (Hons) a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, a Principal Practicing Certificate with the Queensland Law Society and a Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice. Stacey holds Queensland, New South Wales, Northern Territory and Western Australian Real Estate Agent’s Licences and is a Responsible Manager on various Australian Financial Services Licences.

Cameron Scott

Special Counsel

Cameron is an experienced Special Counsel with a demonstrated history of working across various practice areas of law, with a particular focus on property law. He takes great pride in providing high quality service and professional advice to his clients, and his clients appreciate his candid and straightforward approach to discussing and dealing with their matters.

During his time with Arena Law, Cameron has predominately acted on behalf of and provided various legal services to, one of Australia’s leading property investment companies. These services include preparing documents and assisting in various high value and complex acquisition, disposal and leasing matters.

Originally joining the team as an Associate, Cameron has repeatedly been promoted and as of July 2023 sits as a Special Counsel on the team. He has previously worked as a general practitioner in Brisbane providing advice across a wide range of legal practice areas.

Cameron is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, is entered on the High Court Register of Practitioners and holds a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology.
